Common questions

Which AI apps work?

Any AI app that lets you add Altonaut as a connector. Your company chooses which one. No AI app yet? Our team helps you choose one and set it up. Looking at photos works only in AI apps that can read images.

Can it see other companies' data?

No. It sees only your own company, and only the ships and permissions your Altonaut account has. If your role or ship assignment changes, the assistant's access changes at once.

Can the AI change or delete records?

It can't delete or archive records or replace files. If your role allows it, it can prepare some changes, like reporting a defect or recording stock used. Each one waits for a person to approve it on an Altonaut page and expires after 10 minutes. Typing “yes” in the chat does not approve anything.

Who can see what was asked?

Your administrators. They see every request the assistant ran: who, when, from which AI app, what it was asked, and whether it worked. The record is kept for 200 days. Passwords and tokens are never stored.

Can I ask in Bahasa Indonesia?

Yes. Most AI apps understand Bahasa Indonesia, so you can ask in either language.

Do I need Altonaut Planned Maintenance System?

Yes. The assistant is part of Altonaut Planned Maintenance System and works on your Altonaut PMS data.
